The Human, Health and Social Wellbeing working group aims to improve the health of local residents and visitors through sustainable activities including recreation, education and nutrition in order to provide a higher quality of life for individuals, as well as, a deeper connection to the environment in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Impact Matrix/Join Us

The Human, Health & Social Well Being workgroup is the force behind having a community garden. They wanted a place where the South Lake Tahoe community would go to learn how to create sustainable vegetable gardens that thrive in the high altitude and short growing season experienced in the region. Meeting Agendas & Notes

The HH & SWB workgroup typically meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, rotating between 8:00 am or 4:15 pm starts. The meeting location is one of two Barton health facilities (Café at the Hospital or Public Relations).  However, please note that this group is re-defining its meeting dates, thus the above reoccurring schedule is subject to change.
